Spring Creek Bush Walk - Rainforest Bushwalks

If your idea of a great adventure is rock hopping up a creek in a secluded valley, then this is for you!

Spring Creek is tucked away in a hidden valley full of picturesque creeks and waterfalls.

This 3 hour (3km) return walk is great for those adventurous travellers.  With no set path you'll need to be steady on your feet as we rock hop along the sides of Spring Creek.  A narrow valley leads us up along Spring Creek to reach the magnificent Spring Creek Falls.

There are plenty of opportunities to go for a swim in the many rock pools that are found along the creek.  A variety of environments along the way gives you the chance to experience wildlife in the Wet Tropics.  Challenge your adventurous side and enjoy an optional swim in a secluded waterfall.

A medium level of fitness is useful as we will need to climb over some boulders along the way.  Sturdy hiking shoes with good tread are highly recommended as some of the rocks are slippery.

A challenging yet rewarding walk, away from the crowds and a favourite with the locals.

Back Country Bliss Adventures will take you on some of nature's finest bush walks.

Tour Includes:

  • Return hotel transfers from Port Douglas
  • Comfortable Backpack
  • Optional refreshing river swim
  • BPA free water bottles for the walk (recyclable, non-disposable)
  • Yummy Snacks
  • Knowledgeable and friendly Rainforest guide
  • All park fees, insurances & first aid kit

These easy to challenging walks offer breathtaking scenery at the beautiful Spring Creek Falls or Bump Track.

The fully qualified Bushwalking guides will give informative commentary about the local area highlighting history, bush foods, flora & fauna.

This great little half day walk is just a short drive from Port Douglas, and makes a perfect half day option for those who have done the reef and rainforest and would like some quiet time away from the hustle and bustle of Port Douglas and the crowds of Cape Tribulation.
