This is the premier social and cuisine event of Port Douglas Carnivale, and takes place seaside under striking illuminated palm fronds on the foreshore at Rex Smeal Park. Picture a sea of white linen tables overlooking the Coral Sea, with coconut palms uplit with a kaleidoscope of colours.

Get ready as Port Douglas showcases signature dishes inspired by an abundance of the region's fresh produce and ingredients.  An array of local food and wine artisans at the Hawkers Market will be sure to tempt your taste buds with their tantalizing goodies for sale.

This year Australian musician Ben Lee as well as DJ Pierro, Night Grooves, The Hillbilly Goats and more performers entertain to an audience enjoying the freedom and fun of dancing in the moonlight.

At booths inside the gate, guests can exchange cash or credit cards for tokens of different denominations to present to the restaurant stalls to purchase beverages and food.
