How long to stay?

Updated: 30-May-2007

Stay a little longer...

There are so many places to visit and numerous places to visit and numerous adventures available in the region that you will need more than just a couple of days. Most properties in Port Douglas have a minimum stay of three nights, so it is wise to plan at least three nights stay into your itinerary.

Two weeks or ten days should give you long enough to cover the main highlights of the region including some relaxation time. We recommend having a base of seven nights to explore the region, with one or two nights in Cape Tribulation.

Families are highly recommend to pre-book accommodation well in advance for school holidays.
